Sandra Doggett

Director of Special Education

Teaching & Learning Department

With over 28 years of experience in special education, I currently serve as the Special Education Director for the Arkansas Public School Resource Center (APSRC). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in K–12 Special Education from the University of Central Arkansas, along with certifications in English Language Arts and Social Studies (grades 5–8). I also earned a Master of Science in Education (MSE) with licensure in P–12 Administration and have completed graduate coursework toward an additional degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Although I’ve retired from classroom teaching, my passion for supporting educators and improving outcomes for students with disabilities continues to guide my work. I remain committed to lifelong learning and value the opportunity to collaborate with schools and professionals across Arkansas.

Outside of my professional life, I am a widow, and proud to have six amazing stepchildren and sixteen grandchildren. I enjoy road trips, shopping, reading, spending time with family and friends, and always finding a new project or adventure to dive into.
