About Leadership Lab
Leadership Lab professional learning pathways are available to those working in the education landscape in Arkansas, including principals, assistant principals, curriculum facilitators, coaches, specialists, and classroom teachers.
Program Pathways
These pathways come at no cost to APSRC Member schools and at a cost per session for non-member schools. Awards for participants demonstrating student growth range from $500-3500 for completion and evidence of implementation as available.
Instructional Leader Empowerment
APSRC’s Leadership Lab Instructional Leader Empowerment pathway is designated for Curriculum Facilitators, Coaches, Specialists, and Assistant Principals.
The focus of Instructional Leader Empowerment is on building collective efficacy, aligning learning outcomes, providing quality feedback, and understanding measures of student growth to better support teacher teams and instructional practice building-wide.

Foundations of Leadership: Principals
APSRC’s Leadership Lab Foundations of Leadership: Principals pathway is designated for Early Career Building Level Principals.
The focus of Foundations of Leadership: Principals is on Creating Building-Wide Coherence, Mission and Vision casting, Recruiting and Retaining Staff and Families, aligning instructional outcomes, and Navigating Student performance data.

APSRC’s Leadership Lab Classroom Leadership Essentials pathway is designated for Classroom Teachers who aspire to grow their leadership capacity.
The focus of Classroom Leadership Essentials is on building collaborative relationships, leading teacher teams, and analyzing student performance metrics to assist in identifying and modeling best instructional practices.

The focus of Aligned Leadership: School Teams is on identifying an organizational problem of practice and utilizing cycles of inquiry and strategic planning to implement solutions with measured benchmarks and outcomes.

APSRC’s Leadership Lab Building Leadership: Prep and Placement (Pilot) pathway is designated for an aspiring building principal with a foundational skill set of management and logistics.
The focus of Building Leadership: Prep and Placement (Pilot) is on equipping a prospective leader with the capacity to lead new schools from vision to curriculum implementation, high-quality instruction and actionable feedback, for the purpose of high-performing student outcomes from day one.
