Summer Highlights from APSRC

The 2025–2026 school year is off to a fantastic start, and we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the incredible work our team has been doing throughout the summer. From presenting at conferences to supporting schools across Arkansas, our staff has been busy making a meaningful impact.

We’re excited to keep the momentum going and continue supporting public education throughout the year. Take a look at these snapshots of our team in action!

Pictured here are Jeana Williams and Jessica Wright, joined by our newest specialists, Sherry Washington and Justin Warner. They had a fantastic time collaborating with the team at Jerry "Pop" Williams Elementary School in the Farmington School District.

We love making Summer Professional Learning meaningful and fun for teachers all over the state! This crew of teachers was inspiring!

Our Director of Special Education, Sandra Doggett, spent some time collaborating on all things IEP with the Special Services Department at Academics Plus Charter School this summer.

She described the experience as incredibly rewarding and is already looking forward to working with their team again in the future!

Jessica Wright, our Co-Director of Instructional Leadership, held a TESS training for new teachers in the Friendship Aspire School District at Garland Elementary.

Our Teaching & Learning Team also spent some time with educators at Bob Folsom Elementary this summer, working on strengthening Tier 1 instruction, practicing the process of lesson internalization, and learning about effective teaching strategies.

Sherry Washington, our Science Specialist, had a wonderful day with the Science department at Barton School District!

The focus was on diving into Science standards and creating phenomena-based instruction!
