Empowering Students Through Technology: LISA Academy Joins Verizon Innovative Learning

On August 19, students at LISA Academy Public Charter Schools received their new tablets during an exciting rollout event as part of their school’s participation in the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program.

This initiative, in partnership with Digital Promise, is designed to break down barriers to digital inclusion by providing free touchscreen Chromebooks, Verizon data plans, and dedicated technology coaches to middle and high school students.

APSRC is proud to support member schools like LISA Academy as they embrace innovation and equity in education. With access to reliable internet and devices, students can now engage in powerful STEM learning experiences.

As part of the program’s 12th national cohort, LISA Academy joins 660 schools across the country committed to transforming learning through technology. Superintendent Dr. Fatih Bogrek shared, “This partnership will empower our students to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and develop the skills they need to become the leaders of tomorrow.”

We’re excited to see how this investment in digital learning will shape the future for Arkansas students. Congratulations to LISA Academy and all the students who received their devices!
