Getting Started with Google Classroom
Learn how to transform your classroom with Google Classroom. Google Classroom streamlines assignments, boosts collaboration, and fosters seamless communication to make teaching more productive and meaningful while storing everything in one place. Teachers and students can work anywhere, anytime, and on any device.

What Can You Do with Google Sites?
In this session, attendees will learn how to use Google Sites in education. Create a one-stop destination for all important information, including videos, images, calendars, presentations, documents, folders and text. With the new Google Sites, building websites is easy. It’s just a matter of dragging and dropping content. Google Sites offers 21st-century tools that allow students to access information needed for learning anytime, anywhere. This would be a great use of technology for AMI days. Educators will walk away with hands-on experience in creating websites. Attendees also will learn about the legal aspects associated with maintaining websites.

What are the Best Virtual-Reality Apps?
In this session, teachers will learn how to best leverage virtual-reality technology in the classroom. VR takes learning beyond the conventional classroom and is an exciting new technology with huge potential for student education. Attendees will explore the best educational VR apps for both Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard. This session also will focus on the standard of community, as well as the global and ethical impacts teachers and students will face.
