Trent Saracini serves as the Instructional Technology Specialist at the Arkansas Public School Resource Center and has done so for 3 years. Before coming to APSRC, Trent served one year as Program Advisor in the Office of Educator Effectiveness at the Arkansas Department of Education as data and technology support. Prior to ADE, he was an EAST Facilitator at Harrisburg Middle School School as well as Valley View High School.
While an EAST Facilitator, he used project-based learning to encourage students to become self-directed learners, problem solvers, and critical thinkers, while providing a collaborative environment for ideas. He facilitated students to compete and win awards in Virtual Reality, CAD and GIS projects, highlighting community projects from around the state.
Trent’s focus at APSRC is working with teachers to implement technology into their everyday lessons. This includes the use of Google Classroom, iPad applications, Virtual Reality, and other technology innovations.
When Trent is not working in the office, he enjoys playing tennis, golf or riding bikes along the Arkansas River Trail.
