Sherry Williams, MS, NBCT, is the Recruitment and Retention Facilitator for the Arkansas Public School Resource Center. She recently completed her thirty-second year in education serving as the Secondary Instructional Facilitator and Alternative Learning Environment Assistant Principal for the Searcy County School District. Previously, Sherry worked ten years in the Little Rock School District and nineteen at Greenbrier Public Schools where she taught every grade level from seventh to twelfth in subjects including AP Language and Composition, AP Literature and Composition, Pre-AP English, Creative Writing, regular and inclusion English. In addition, she has hosted student interns in both the Little Rock and Greenbrier Districts.
Sherry was the district novice teacher supervisor for the Clinton School District and the secondary novice teacher supervisor for the Searcy County School District. She has presented at several conferences including AGATE, ACC, and ATNBC. She completed the Arkansas Teacher Leadership Academy and participated in the Literacy Design Collaborative.
Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science in English Language Arts and a Master’s in Curriculum and Program Administration, both from the University of Central Arkansas. Sherry’s passion for working with children of poverty has been and will continue to be the catalyst for her educational career.
