Description
Every public school operates under a variety of policies that govern and guide its operations – including personnel policies, financial/administrative policies, and student handbooks. Every public school is different, and especially with the growing number of waivers granted to both public school districts and charter schools, it is very common for a public school to customize its policies to its specific needs, or to develop new policies to address new situations. APSRC staff are available to work with school districts and charter schools to create and amend policies – from making technical changes to individual policies to creating comprehensive policy manuals. This sample policy reflects the work that APSRC can do for your public school. To discuss how APSRC can meet your public school’s policy needs, please contact the APSRC Legal Unit at 501.492.4300
