Arkansas Senate
During the reading of the bills, Sen. Jonathan Dismang appealed the ruling of the chair that SB8 (Rapert) – To Amend the State Income Tax; to Change the Name and Funding of the Long Term Reserve Fund; and to Create an Income Tax Credit for Certain Full-Time Law Enforcement Officers; and to Declare an Emergency is germane to the call. The motion to appeal the ruling was passed with 23 yeas, and 9 nays, and the bill was ruled as not germane.
Sen. Jonathan Dismang also appealed the ruling of the chair on the germaness of SB9 (Rapert) – To Create an Income Tax Credit for Certain Full-Time Law Enforcement Officers. The motion to appeal the ruling was passed with 21 yeas, 11 nays, and the bill was ruled as not germane.
