Inclusive Practices

FreeThe Division of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Special Education Unit will provide information about inclusive and evidence-based practices in this full-day session. This training will provide educators with tools for increasing academic achievement and post-school success for all students, especially those with disabilities. Attendees will review their school’s data, consider multiple service delivery methods, delve into CEC’s High Leverage Practices for Inclusive Classrooms, and explore the Universal Design for Learning principles. Administrators, general educators, special educators, and counselors are encouraged to attend.
Attendees are asked to bring either a laptop or tablet.
The session will be held at the APSRC office, Suite 375 in the Victory Building, which is located at 1401 W. Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.
Parking is available in a garage located on 6th Street, which runs parallel to Capitol Avenue. The garage is connected to the Victory Building via a second-floor walkway. You will need $5 to cover all-day parking or $1 per hour for hourly parking. Metered parking also is available.
