Essential Behavior Concepts
September 7 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
FreeEssential Behavior Concepts will explain how behavior is learned and changed through experience. The focus of this training is not to provide a list of behavior interventions, but rather to provide a foundation for understanding behavior that will help facilitate more meaningful analysis and problem-solving of issues related to student behavior. Participants will be introduced to and apply the following concepts:
- ABC contingency
- Behavior
- Antecedents
- Consequences
- Setting events
- Function
This training is great for both general and special educators, along with paraprofessionals working with students.
This session will be held in the APSRC Training Center, Suite 375, in the Victory Building at 1401 West Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.
Parking is available in a garage located on 6th Street, which runs parallel to Capitol Avenue. The garage is connected to the Victory Building via a second-floor walkway. You will need $6 to cover all-day parking or $2 per hour for hourly parking. Metered parking is also available.
