Designing Structures Around Learning Loss and/or Gains with NWEA
May 20, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am
FreeWe all need information now on learning loss. This 3-hour session will begin by using the projected proficiency to identify learning loss and/or gains and end with ways to plan for student proficiency on essential standards prior to beginning the 21-22 school year. The use of this information allows us to identify and plan in May in order to be ready for fall. We will focus on the use of the Class Breakdown Report, the Achievement Status and Growth Summary Report and the Learning Continuum through NWEA. Participants will have the opportunity to examine their own data as well as understand how to duplicate and share the process with their peer educators.
The session will be held at the APSRC office, Suite 375 in the Victory Building, which is located at 1401 W. Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.
Parking is available in a garage located on 6th Street, which runs parallel to Capitol Avenue. The garage is connected to the Victory Building via a second-floor walkway. You will need $5 to cover all-day parking or $1 per hour for hourly parking. Metered parking also is available.
Audience: K-8 Administrators and Teacher Leaders
Presenter: Jeana Williams, APSRC Director of Educational Innovation, Professional Development and Special Projects
