Content Area Reading Strategies

Content Area Reading Strategies will explore the connection between literacy and content area courses.  In this session, participants will learn how to embed literacy strategies into their core content classrooms. Practical tools, strategies, and resources will be shared with teachers as they make connections between ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.  This session is designed for core content teachers in grades 3-12.

This session will be held in the APSRC Training Center, Suite 375, in the Victory Building at 1401 West Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.

Parking is available in a garage located on 6th Street, which runs parallel to Capitol Avenue. The garage is connected to the Victory Building via a second-floor walkway. You will need $6 to cover all-day parking or $2 per hour for hourly parking. Metered parking is also available.
