
ALL IN for Students with Extensive Support Needs

FreeThis session will focus on using Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) as a tool for instructional planning to help teachers increase educational rigor and support inclusive practices for students with extensive support needs. The training will explore communication, least restrictive environment, and inclusive education. Attendees will learn strategies for using the DLM Essential Elements to support students in a variety of settings and to help them meet their postsecondary goals. Attendees will explore resources for planning instruction that reflects high expectations for ALL students.
Attendees are asked to bring a device (tablet or laptop) and earbuds.
Audience: Special Educators and Special Education Directors, K-12
This session will be held in the APSRC Training Center, Suite 375, in the Victory Building at 1401 West Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.
Parking is available in a garage located on 6th Street, which runs parallel to Capitol Avenue. The garage is connected to the Victory Building via a second-floor walkway. You will need $6 to cover all-day parking or $2 per hour for hourly parking. Metered parking is also available.
