APSRC offers free school board trainings to its members
State law requires that all new school board members obtain a minimum of 9 hours of professional development by December 31st of the year after they begin their term. All other board members must obtain 6 hours of professional development each calendar year. APSRC ensures that its members remain in compliance with the statute by offering free school board trainings on- and off-site. Each year, APSRC staff travel throughout the state to help school board members complete the necessary hours of training. We also host trainings at our Little Rock office.
