APSRC will provide training completion certificates to school board members following the completion of each school board training session. The certificate will indicate the date, location, the number of hours earned, and topics covered. Certificates will be emailed to the Educational Cooperative leaders to be passed on to school superintendents and school board members. Superintendents are encouraged to keep copies of board member training certificates on file and to provide board members with copies for their records.
In addition, APSRC will email school superintendents a list of board member training hours completed by their school board members at training sessions led by APSRC staff. This documentation will be sent to superintendents by December 20, 2017, to ensure that they have the board member training documentation necessary to comply with Act 589 of 2017.
