Instructor: Jeana Williams, APSRC Associate Director of Education
This training is designed for administrators new to NWEA or administrators that need a suggested process of how to support their teachers through the use of the assessment. We look at sample reports that are helpful for administrators on the building level and drill down to what we are able to learn about individual students. This training will guide administrators through a systematic approach designed to help teachers engage with the Class Report, the Quadrant Chart, and the Linking Study in a way that familiarizes them with the data and information while interacting with the platform. Once teachers have a working knowledge of these reports and data, they will be more likely to dig deeper on their own in order to determine the best use for the variety of reports available within the platform.
Please read these directions carefully. You may want to print this page for reference as you proceed through the course.
This is the NWEA for Administrators course. Completion of this course and the corresponding quiz will earn one (1) continuing education credit hour for school staff members. Please be sure you are on the correct course.
The lesson consists of one video and 5 quiz questions. You may not exit the quiz once it has begun. In order to pass the quiz, you must answer all five questions correctly, but you may take the quiz as many times as necessary in order to pass.
The lesson is timed in order to ensure that APSRC may grant the full amount of credit that the course is intended to receive. You may take more time than required or rewatch the lesson; however, course credit is limited to 1 hour.
When the lesson is complete, a green checked box will appear next to that lesson. A link to print your continuing education certificate will appear. Please click that link and print a certificate for your records. APSRC will also be notified that a course was completed. APSRC staff will review your course information and certify the earned hour.
Note: Only the individual logged in will receive credit for the course. Therefore, before beginning the course, ensure you are logged in correctly under your personal username and password.
